About Share PurchaseWhen I travel and take pictures, it generally degenerates into me aimlessly driving around the country. When I see streets or terrain I like, I head for them and then repeat the process. I get lost about five minutes after I start–because getting from point A to point B isn’t the goal–and end up in a lot of unusual places because dead end roads and dirt paths often end in great photo opportunities.
In this particular case, I had been driving down a series of dirt roads that were about a car length wide between swatches of desert that had been fenced off for reasons that weren’t clear. When I got to the very end of this series of roads, I found this scene. A desert expanse in every direction that stretched out as far as the eye could see that was ‘private’. There were no houses, no farms, nothing. Just a ‘Keep Out Private’ sign at the end of a path that I can’t imagine too many people would have been stupid enough to drive down.
