The truth about this photo is that it isn’t Photoshopped a bit. This is straight out of camera. When you look at this grouping of buildings from atop Marina Towers, this is precisely the way they look. Like they’re cuddling together for warmth. It was this photo that inspired me to actually try pulling Chicago’s buildings out of different photos and combining them into one super skyline… an exercise that did not work as I hoped it would. Who would have guessed that the real image would look great and the one created in Photoshop wouldn’t look right? You just can’t see these things coming.
