About Share PurchaseWhen I pulled off the freeway to shoot this dusk sky, I first got a closeup of the two mountain peaks that were jutting up into the sky. You can see that here. While setting up that shot–I was using a tripod to shoot this location–a car zoomed by me. I marveled at how the cars head and taillights looked on the road. It was like there was a very small, very low flying UFO. So I decided that after my close up shot of the mountains that I’d shoot the next car driving by.
So there I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Just after I’d given up hope on any car ever showing up and put my tripod into my own car, I saw headlights on the road on the other side of the hill. I hurriedly pulled the tripod out of the backseat and set it up as fast as I humanly could. This was the very first shot I was able to take and also the best. It’s the only one I took that really seemed that capture the UFO-ness of the passing cars.
