About Share PurchaseI always enjoy pairing contrasting energies off one another. I love shooting fashion outside in Detroit and I love putting edgy looking models in soft, pastoral settings. In this shoot, I decided to put two models together who couldn’t have been more different.
Steve is a 50-something man I met while affiliated with the demolition derby. He is the closest I’ve ever come to meeting Dos Equis’ Most Interesting Man Alive. Steve can drive a manual shift car without a clutch, has eaten cicadas and once built a basement for his house… while he and his family lived in the house. Yvonne is a 20-something model who is the lead singer in an up-and-coming band who brings Grace Kelly to mind. She is the proverbial Hitchcockian blonde, in the best possible way. But together, their energies paired wonderfully.
