This is a very simple image that works far better than I think it should.  It’s merely the sun setting behind a Riverside, Illinois street light.  And it’s glorious.  I’ve debated about taking this image out of my Riverside rotation, but just can’t ever pull the trigger on it.  It is a beautifully framed photo that follows the rule of thirds to a ‘T’.  The sun is on the left third, the street light the right third and they balance each other perfectly.  I absolutely love looking at this picture.
