Lone Bedroom Light
About Share PurchaseI can’t exactly pinpoint what my style of photography is, but this image is so emblematic of my style it almost defies description. Dark setting? Check. Unusual lighting? Check? Lonely and desolate? Check and check. I would hope that my friends and family would see this photo somewhere and instantly think, “Yup, that’s one of Chris’.”
I was driving down the street, saw the lone bedroom light on in this house and got so excited I nearly crashed into a tree. It’s that *lone* light aspect of it that is so beautiful. If the entire second story (or first story) was lit up, this photo would have a complete different feel. As it is, the subject of this photo is that one lone light. It’s the face of this image; my eye always come back to that spot.
I am very happy with the feeling this picture produces. Very happy.
