The Riverside Public Library is a dynamic and gorgeous building that looks even better when the colors in the sky match the colors emanating forth from the windows. I timed this shot specifically during Magic Hour so that the colors would match. And so they did.
Two bits of good luck I had on this photo were 1) The snow on the roof (and on the lawn) accentuates the roof and makes it seem warmer and cozier than it would normally appear, and 2) the patches of ice present on the street really pick up and reflect the colors of the sky well. This latter point is most noticeable by the crosswalk and by the entrance to the parking lot.
