Sun on the Pacific
About Share PurchaseDriving south along the Pacific Coast Highway (north of San Francisco) was a one-of-a-kind experience. It was the type of highway you’d see in a James Bond movie. There were cliffs, hairpin turns and no guard rails in a lot of places; just your car and a 2,000 foot drop four feet to your right. It was also one of the most beautiful roads I’ve ever been on in my life.
The one practical element the highway has going for it is that there are a crazy amount of spaces where you can pull off the road and gawk at the scenery in front of you. This was the view from one such pull off.
Also worth noting: despite the apparent smooth slope in the image, I was basically standing on the side of a huge cliff when I took this photo.
