Switzerland
About Share PurchaseWhen it comes to titling photos, I’m ridiculously bad. The process is simple and extremely straight forward. I look at the picture in question and then title it what I see. If there’s a bolt of lightning in the photo, I’ll call the photo ‘Lightning’. If there’s a photo of Buckingham Fountain in the fog, it will be called ‘Buckingham Fountain in the Fog’. The amount of imagination that goes into these titles is truly stunning.
Every once in a while though, I’ll venture outside my naming comfort zone. This is a great example of one of those pictures. It’s the back of the Riverside library and town hall. It is called ‘Switzerland’. Why? Because it looks like something one would find in Switzerland. I live less than 50 yards from the town hall (the building on the right) and it still surprises me when I look at this photo that I took this picture across the street from my house.
As an aside, I am not sure what the light reflection on the water on the far left of the photo is from. It had to come from some light, but I’m not sure which light that is or where it’s located.
