About Share PurchaseOne of the best qualities of Riverside is that it looks like a small town should look. No matter what happens, downtown Riverside will always look like something out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
This is especially true during the holiday season when the water tower gets decked out in red and green and the street lights are outfitted with strings of lights. (And you’d better believe that the lights wish they were wearing sweaters in December too).
What’s funny to me about this image is that it looks like a perfect winter wonderland–the kind of place you’d see in a movie and think couldn’t possibly exist–but I was absolutely miserable when I was taking it. It was cold, it was snowing and it was incredibly windy which served only to make it even colder and snowier. It’s always great when physical pain translates into good photos.
